Nice shots great, looks like a fun session. I noticed the guys were in full wetsuits. This time of year with northerly frontal winds I would have one on too, always have. I had a discussion going with guys in Miami a while back who felt baggies maybe a shorty work pretty much year round. If you're going out year round particularly in stronger fronts and for hours, I felt full suits were a natural. What works in Key West for longer sessions in frontal season?

When you live here, you get so used to warm conditions, that when a front hits and the temp drops, it is best to be prepared and suit up, I use either a 3mm spring suit or in the "colder" days a mojo 3mm full suit from Hyperflex . That wonderfull mountain in the background is the old waste site called affectionately "mount trashmore" .

Makes sense to me. I can recall freezing my butt off in a full 4/3 in Islamorada in a powerful front many years ago during a all day session. I think the guys in Miami were thinking of shorter sessions for east to southeasterly winds. A honking strong NW or even NE wind can sometimes get real cold particularly if you're out for hours.

Mount Trashmore is famous, it is featured in James Hall's "Bones of Coral." An old favorite of mine, lots of colorful (read bizarre) South Florida personalities in this one.
