Wetterhorn in the Bernese Oberland

Is that a bird over the Eiger? Nope it's a strong Fohn sturm.

Happy Holidays to you too Rick!

Now I'll have to post pics of the wind and waves where I'll be next week in Puerto Rico....

Thanks, and you should do that! Looking forward to checking out the conditions you find down there. Where are you headed on PR?

Are other folks getting out of town for the holidays, if so to where?

Anyone going snow kiteboarding anytime soon? How about a trip to the mountains? It sure is different from South Florida, in a nice way.

Isla verde/ Ocean Park, on the north side of the island near San Juan.
Yesterday's conditions were 8' waves with long period swells but they are quite a distance offshore, 1/2 mile or more, so getting action pics other than leaving the beach may be challenging. Today is the biggest day, 20-30kt forecast and 20-25kt thru sunday. stay tuned for the pics and
Feliz Navidad!

Sounds outstanding, have fun and be sure to put on the images. Just found one online that may be nearby. Looks like you can get some real nice swells there.
