Yeah. I first saw that Capri Sun about 3 years ago in Publix. That was probably the first "mainstream" thing I saw. I even said to Donna "well, here it comes".
I took a pic of it and posted it on Tom's old forum. Kiting was still pretty invisible back then compared to now.

I also remember when finding a video on the internet with kiting in it was uncommon (we are talking 8 to 9 years ago). Now 1 pops up every day on Kiteforum or similar. Obviously some of that has to do with today's low cost of digital vid cams combined with really easy editing tools.

I also remember when there were only 4 online sellers of kiting gear and maybe 6 brands.

Pretty amazing. What is going to be interesting for me to see is if interest in kitesurfing peaks and then drops off in the States. I don't think interest will ever wane in Europe, but I have seen many hobbies peak and die in the US over the years.
