Okay... okay... you guys are changin' my perspective.
Time to ride the bike, lift weights, wake board etc. I just can't believe the withdrawl symptoms from this ADDICTION that I have!

I didn't say I didn't have them the first 5 summers.
You will get use to it. I feel for ya', trust me, I remember the first two windless summers. After the 5th or 6th, you just realize it's best to "give up" and do other stuff. |

After 14 years of windsurfing... I thought this would be different.
Last summer was my first kiting summer, and it seeed liked we rode all the time! Like every two or three weeks! With Windsurfing... you KNEW there was no chance in hell you were gonna get to ride till at least NOVEMBER. Unless we had a TS or Hurricane. But with kiting... almost every evening has a small chance of a seabreeze. Last night was damn close... but the the lightning started popping. But it's always fun 'wind hunting'! Now when is the FKA invading the cable park? I can't find that thread...

Last summer I spent the majority of my time with Chad085 sitting on our kites at Indian Rocks Beach waiting for the seabreeze to find us and 9 out of 10 times we got nothing.
This time around I try to go to the beach still, but don't even worry about kiting, instead I hit Caddys or Undertow where the drinks are cold and the scenery is good! Can't wait for that cable park to open either! I'd also like to get some dives in this summer but am even having trouble finding time for that. |
