Registration started for Miami Kite Masters 2011-April 9-10 in Crandon

2 majors contests this year at the MASTERS 2011 :

1/We are putting back our terrific LONG DISTANCE RACE : CRANDON <> FOWEY ROCK.
The first one was run in 2008 and still bring memories to many : check the images and results from the thread back then on this forum:

We also had aerial footage from an ultralight, here is the Video made from the sky : it looks so cool. Be indulgent for the quality though, we made it quick and the camera was not up to the highest standards

There will be 2 categories : Race Boards and Non-race boards, so the race is fair whatever board you racing on .
It is actually 19 miles(statute) exactly. Get ready and get water !
We will have several Chase boats along for safety .

2/ like each year we run the FREESTYLE contest : Men & Women
32 riders to be in only ! Be quick to register ...
I heard rumours that Damian Leroy will not be attending this year due to a heavy agenda !...that leaves quite some opening for the 2011 winner

Although Etienne Lhote and Charlotte Consorti , our special guests from France and PKRA riders are coming to take over the MASTERS 2011 !

Btw , we still have few spaces left for the 3-Day JUMP Kite CAMP they will be running on April 11-12-13 at Crandon after the Masters : Any moves on demand ,from basic grabs or board-off to handlepasses, Mobes and Surf riding.
Flat Fee is $ 290 when signing in before March 30th ! Video Support included.

$50 Freestyle ( maxi 32 riders )

Entry fees include an Event T-shirt and a rashguard of the contest for each competitor.

All incomes from the Contest will be going toward the Athletes-4-Cancer organization since as you know we teamed up with KB4C ( kiteboard4cancer) to support and relay the cause here in Florida as well . So By joining our event, you bring support to those who really need some.
