Default lowest wind I can ride in

10kts on a surf board with a 16m
12kts on a twin tip can barely stay up wind
I weigh about 190 pounds.
the lighter you are the more you can ride in lower winds, the better you get the more you don't want to ride in low winds.

being light has positive and negatives....U can ride in lighter winds.....but the lighter u are the you wind range goes down if it ever hit 25kts+ u would have to find yourself a 5m to fly own so you wouldn't get blown to Cuba

I would much rather be light than heavy, you can adjust to the higher winds easily enough.

Being 70kg doesn't really make me riding when others can't...maybe I can be on smaller kites when the wind picks up. In terms on light wind a fast kite and a surf board is what you need...
