When/Where to Kite in Bradenton

Hi.
We are visiting family between December and January in Bradenton. Would love to bring our kites. Can somebody please enlighten me as to what we can expect for kiting conditions during that time, also the best launch sites? Thanks!

hey karen...i just made the same post in the Let's Ride part of the forum(under tampa bay.st. pete.) But any more info on this topic would be awesome.

Bean point is the furthest point to the north and has the strongeest winds. its also basicly one huge sandbar with nice clear water, then 3 peirs which is to the left of the beach house is a decent spot when there are waves (its a local surf break) you can also do a 9 mile downwinder from one side the the other then ride the trolly back if you want. hope that helps!
