Default best way to Islamorada

I have never been down to Islamorada but planning on going tomorrow morning.. are the beach or kiting areas easy to find. How far is it from Miami? Thanks Marc

no, but if you call the school down there they should be able to hook you up with a boat ride to the riding spots

New kite shop in the Florida Keys opening with skate jam, BBQ, LIVE music, and giveaways. Come on down!!

“Grand Opening” The Otherside Boardsports will be hosting the 1st Annual “Hookup Huck” skate contest in Islamorada, Florida (Florida Keys) at Founders Park Skate Park at 2 pm Saturday, December 1st 2007.

The Otherside Boardsports is the premiere boardsports provider in the Florida Keys specializing in skate, wake and kite. Doors will open at the shop at 9:00am . After the “Hookup Huck” (and hopefully some kiting) there will be an awards ceremont and BBQ w/ live music.

Companies to be carried so far:
SKATE: Independent, Powell, Ricta, Darkstar, Bones, DGK, Flip, Royal, Baker, and more.
Wake: Hyperlite, Oak Wakeskates, New Wakeskates, and more coming soon.
Kite: Cabrihna, Slingshot, North, Windwing,
Clothing from: Ergophobia, Split, and Planet Earth
Sector 9 and Gravity longboards and Amundson standup paddleboards.
