Default Wind Tonight!

Did anyone get some water time tonight? I got out late, after 6:30 pm. Still it was nice, 16 to 20 kts. sideshore! A storm cell moved over about 45 minutes before I hit the beach and dumped a load of rain. Radar looked clear pretty much after that. Eventually that changed howver.

A shelf cloud managed to sneak to the coast from inland under a bunch of external cloud cover. It started around George Bush Blvd. in Delray and went north a few miles. Once it came near the coast it became pretty obvious. No extreme winds with this one but there could have been. The wind vanished shortly after it went out to sea. Nice unexpected session!
